Yeah, there is only 2 slots near the hdd bay, and then the rest are under the kb/you can see 1 memory module just like BoricaUSA said, I took pics, just let me upload them right quick. But in CPUz, you can also see that this laptop has 4dimms by seeing that all 4 dimms are filled with 2gb sticks.

depends on the CPU, if its DUAL Channel then pick the 2x8GB. If its QUAD channel, which I really doubt, then use 4 sticks.
